Brindavan Gardens barred for visitors as water level rises in Cauvery river

MANDYA: With excessive water flow from the KRS dam to the Cauvery river the north side of the popular Brindavan Gardens has been cut off for visitors.

Boating and the musical fountain have been stopped and entry of tourists has been prohibited.

With incessant rain in the catchment area, 77,999 cusecs of water is being discharged from the dam. This is the second time in a month that the northern part of the Brindavan Gardens has been cut off.
