HASSAN: A bride’s face was disfigured after a new type of make-up was applied on her before the wedding at a spa in Arasikere near Hassan.
Ahead of the wedding, the woman had got her make-up done at Gangashree Herbal Beauty Parlour and Spa in the city. Ganga, the owner of the beauty parlour, suggested her to choose a new type of make-up for her wedding. Before applying the make-up, the beautician gave the bride a steam facial after which her face got swollen and turned black.
After seeing the woman’s disfigured face, the groom refused to marry her. The case came to light after ten days. A case has been registered at the Arasikere police station. The police called the beauty parlour owner and questioned her. Further investigation is under way.
