CHIKKODI: The body of an unidentified person, aged around 38-40 years, was found floating half naked in the Krishna river near Bhavanasaudatti village.
The deceased was wearing a yellow shirt and bore a wound mark on the left side of his head. It is suspected that he may have been killed and the body dumped in the river.
The Raibagh police visited the spot and have registered a case. The police are trying to establish the identity of the deceased and the reason behind his death.
