HUBBALLI: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday exuded confidence that the BJP will come back to power with full majority and said the Modi factor has acted as a huge plus for the party.

He, however, refused to give a reply to a question on the possibility of a hung House. “I have never said we will get 150 seats, I have only maintained that we will get a majority”, he said. Women and the youth are with the BJP, he stressed.

The CM also met some citizens with grievances at his house on Thursday.

On the exit polls, the CM pointed out that the last time, they gave Congress 107 seats, but the final outcome was contrary to the predictions after counting of votes. “I still have the same confidence”, he said.

“We are confident with our ground reports and we will come with a comfortable majority. All the exit polls predicted that Yogi Adityanath will not come back, but he came back in Uttar Pradesh”, he added.

Thanking the voters of Shiggaon, Basavaraj Bommai said he is indebted to them and added that he will win with a huge margin. “All the conspiracies and canards about me ended on Wednesday. I will win with a huge margin”, he said.
