BENGALURU: Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje led the Tiranga Yatra rally, organised by Karnataka BJP workers, at Thanisandra in Bengaluru on Saturday in solidarity with and honour of the Indian armed forces.

The rally commenced from Thanisandra Circle to Airport Road in Bengaluru, along with many BJP workers. The event was organized to show support for the Indian Army’s Operation Sindoor.

Shobha Karandlaje said that the Indian Armed Forces’ attack on terrorist camps in Pakistan and suspending the Indus Water Treaty have showcased India’s strength to the world.

She added that the country’s soldiers work on behalf of all citizens, and it’s essential to boost their morale. She emphasized that the BJP’s support for Prime Minister Modi is not about politics, but about standing with the nation.

Karandlaje also criticized Congress leaders for making jokes about Operation Sindoor, saying they should have stood with the nation and supported the army instead. She accused Congress of having an anti-national mindset, citing instances where Congress leaders spoke against India abroad and plotted against the central government.

“The Pakistani government has given Rs (PKR) 14 crore as compensation to the families of terrorists. Even after seeing this, we should not have remained silent. Congress blood is anti-national blood. When the country is in trouble, Congress stands with the country, but it won’t”, she said.

Shobha claimed that Congress leaders speak against India in foreign countries. “They discuss how to remove the central government abroad. The people of the country know the mentality of the Congress government”, she said.

State BJP secretary Thammesh Gowda also participated in the Tiranga Yatra.
