CHIKKAMAGALUR: Activists of the BJP have launched a poster campaign attacking the Congress government in the state over alleged corruption and its free schemes.
The posters target Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his son Yathindra, Deputy CM D K Shivakumar, Energy Minister K J George, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi among others.
The BJP activists stuck the posters across the city on Saturday including the taluk office, Mescom office, taluk panchayat and the inspection bungalow. The posters target Yathindra for being a ‘shadow CM’, ‘missing’ Energy Minister K J George, who is also in charge of the district, among other issues.
Following this, the police registered an FIR against five BJP activists including BJP Yuva Morcha district president Santhosh.
