Indresh made serious allegations against MP sumalatha Ambareesh.

MANDYA: The BJP’s losing candidate from Melukote Assembly segment, Indresh, has alleged that Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh had extended ‘illegal’ support to the party due to which it got less votes.

Making serious allegations against the MP, Indresh said, “Sumalatha Ambareesh said she will extend support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but I condemn her remarks which she made six days before voting day. She had spoken in favour of the Raitha Sangh and said she would be happy if Darshan Puttannaiah wins”.

Indresh further said neither he nor the party workers would accept what she had done and added that he will raise the issue in the party forum. He also said intelligence reports had suggested that he will get 38,000 votes, but added that things changed after Sumalatha’s statement.
