BJP chief Nadda meets Neha’s bereaved family, father Niranjan demands CBI probe into murder

HUBBALLI: BJP national president JP Nadda met the bereaved family members of Neha Hiremath and paid condolences on Sunday. JP adda met Neha’s father Niranjan Hiremath, a Congress Corporator, and wife, Geetha, on Sunday evening and held talks with them.

Along with Nadda, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, MLAs Arvind Bellad, Mahesh Tenginakai, M R Patil and various were present. Speaking after the meeting, Nadda said, “I have come to console the bereaved family. The entire country, including the BJP, is with this family. His family will get  justice”.

“Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G Parameshwara have given statements for appeasement and to mislead the investigation. People will not forgive the appeasement of the government”, Nadda added.

“The police should understand the seriousness of the case. If the state police are incompetent, then hand over the case to the CBI. Neha’s father has also demanded a CBI probe. Neha’s family has no faith in the investigation by the local police. Therefore, the case should be handed over for a CBI investigation. The BJP will try to get justice for Neha’s family”, he added.

He also posted about his visit on his ‘X’ handle, saying ” I visited the grieving parents of Neha Hiremath to extend my deepest condolences to her family. At this solemn moment, the entire nation stands in solidarity with them”.

“I strongly condemn the statements made by the Chief Minister and Home Minister of Karnataka, their appeasement-motivated remarks are undermining the investigation. The BJP is dedicated to ensuring justice prevails and demands a CBI investigation. We stand in solidarity with the family during this challenging time”, he wrote on ‘X’.
