BENGALURU: In a twist to the alleged blackmail case of a businessman by a social media influencer, his wife has now exposed his illicit affairs.
Karthik Putha, the owner of HK Permanent Makeup Clinic in Jayanagar, had filed a complaint against Sadhana Shetty alleging that he met Sadhana for clinic promotion which blossomed into a friendship. He had complained that she blackmailed him using private photos and videos and demanded Rs 1.5 crore, he alleged
A few days ago, Karthik’s wife Harshita visited Jayanagar police station and recorded her statement regarding the incident. “The blackmail story my husband Karthik is telling is completely false. He is accusing the young woman to hide his sexual affair”, she said.
Harshitha said she was shocked after seeing the evidence the young woman had sent. Karthik is not any businessman, he was doing marketing related to cosmetics. He filed a complaint fearing trouble if the young woman lodged a complaint, Harshita told the police.
Last year, Sadhana Shetty had filed a complaint in Hyderabad after Karthik had got her mobile phone stolen through Lokesh and Nagavarma. He cheated her in the name of love, promising to continue the relationship. He had even taken the woman to many places.
Sadhana Shetty had come to Karthik’s house and created a ruckus, saying he had sexually exploited her. Even then Karthik had fabricated a story. Now, wife Harshitha has written to the DGPs of Hyderabad and Bengaluru about Karthik’s false story.
