Bengaluru police bust prostitution racket; arrest 6, rescue 7 women

BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police recently busted a prostitution racket after raids on a few lodges in the heart of the city. The police have arrested six people and rescued seven women.

On November 7, the police raided Vasavi Lodge in K R Market area, Hotel Safeer Boarding and Lodging in Kalasipalya and Durga Palace Lodge in Cottonpet.

Two women were found in the secret room at the time of the CCB raid.

At Durga Palace Lodge, the police discovered a secret, stuffy room behind a wall, with a hidden door where some women were kept for flesh trade. Two women were found in the secret room at the time of the raid.
