BENGALURU: A doctor has been arrested by Magadi Road police for circulating fake notes among cab drivers.
The accused, Sanjay, used to book cabs, pretend to pick up someone up from a distant location and then cheat the cab drivers by giving them fake notes towards the fare.
Finally, the doctor was caught by police when he was escaping by giving fake notes on the pretext of picking up a doctor from Kadri. The police arrested the doctor and seized fake notes worth Rs 90,000 and a note printing machine from him.
