BDA recovers 1.5 acres of land encroached upon by JD(S) leader

BENGALURU: The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) carried out a clearance drive and demolished a construction, built on 1.5 acres of land worth crores, which was encroached upon by JD(S) leader Hanumanthe Gowda. The land, valued at approximately Rs 75 crore, spans 1.5 acres in Valagerahalli near Kengeri.

The BDA, led by Special Commissioner Lakshmi Ganesh, successfully recovererd the land, which was illegally occupied by Hanumanthe Gowda, a former corporator and ex-MLA candidate from Yelahanka. The land was registered in the name of Hanumante Gowda’s wife Latha.
