BENGALURU: The North-East cyber crime police have arrested a BCom girl student for morphing and uploading obscene pictures of another woman, as the latter’s brother came in the way of her love life.
The college student was in love with a youth. However, his friend had advised him to stay away from the girl.
After coming to know that her lover’s friend has a sister, the girl created a fake social media account in that woman’s name and started posting morphed obscene pictures.
When the woman started getting inundated with calls, she lodged a complaint with the cyber crime police.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the college student had created a fake profile in the woman’s name and was uploading obscene, morphed pictures.
Further investigation is under way.
