BENGALURU: After the public spat between former athlete Bindu Rani and woman coach Shwetha G K at the Sri Kanteerava Stadium on Monday morning, the former has lodged a complaint against the coach and her husband with the Sampangiram Nagar police.
Early on Monday morning, Bindu Rai was verbally attacked and shoved by Shwetha, a former tennis player, during practice. In a video that was doing the rounds on social media, the woman coach can be seen verbally attacking Bindu Rani for not giving an explanation over some issue on a WhatsApp group. She was also seen shoving Bindu Rani, questioning her regarding a theft, and regarding her accomplishments.
Following the incident, Bindu Rani filed a complaint against Shwetha and her husband Yathish, a coach for using abusive language against her. Based on her complaint, the police have registered a case under Sections 504 and 506 and takenup investigation.
