BELAGAVI: Over 20 students and two teachers were injured after a contracted KSRTC bus overturned and fell to the roadside after colliding with a tree near Bijaguppi village in Ramdurga taluk on Tuesday. It is said that the bus suffered some malfunction, but there were no casualties.
The bus was carrying more than 60 students and teachers from Chikkoppa village towards Ramadurga. In the accident, two teachers sustained broken hands and several students were also injured. All the injured were shifted by to the Salahalli PHC for treatment.
The accident occurred under Katakola police limits and a case has been registered.
