Angry over buses not stopping at their village, students blocked a bus on Wednesday morning.

VIJAYAPURA: About 150 school and college students from Halagani village, who travel every day to Vijayapura and Babaleshwar, are finding it difficult to travel as they do not find space in buses despite waiting for hours.

The bus conductor got into a heated argument with the students.

On Wednesday, after many buses did not stop at Halagani village, the students blocked the Jainapura-Vijayapura bus. However, the bus conductor misbehaved with them and did not allow them to board the bus, leading to a tense situation.

Villagers later made arrangements for the students to travel by tractors and other private vehicles.
