CHITRADURGA: A 79-year-old man hailing from Andhra Pradesh, who had checked into a lodge in Molakalmuru town, was found dead under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Papanna.
The senior citizen had checked into the lodge along with a woman who claimed that he suddenly fell ill, collapsed in the room and died. However, Papanna’s relatives have expressed suspicion about the death and lodged a complaint.
Senior police officers visited the spot and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered at the Molakalmuru police station and investigation is under way.
