Airshow rehearsal today at Torchlight parade ground in Mysuru, open to all

MYSURU: A spectacular airshow will be held as part of the prestigious Mysuru Dasara festival on October 23. At the Dasara Air Show, visitors can witness aerobatic performances by the Indian Air Force. A rehearsal of the air show will be held at 4 pm today.

For the first time in five years, the Indian Air Force is putting up a show in the sky during Mysuru Dasara. On October 23, the air show will be held at the Torchlight parade ground in Bannimantap and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be present on the occasion.

Various fighter jets and light aircraft of the IAF will participate in the air show and perform various maneuvers. In addition, Air Force persnell will perform spectacular stunts by jumping from the plane with parachutes. There will also be a special performance by the Surya Kiran aerobatics team.

The rehearsal for the air show will commence at 4 pm today and entry is open to all and will be free. Only those who come to visit within 3 pm will be allowed. The show will be held for about an hour.

The final airshow will be held at the same grounds and only those who have a pass are allowed to watch.
