BENGALURU: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai offered prayers at the Srikanteshwara temple in Banashankari and Anjaneya temple before heading to Vidhana Soudha to present his second Budget on Friday.
The CM offered prayers for the welfare of the citizens of Karnataka and circumambulated the sanctum sanctorum. Senior IAS officers I S N Prasad, Ekroop Kaur, P C Jaffer and others were present. The Finance Department officers later handed over the Budget copies for the year 2023-24 to the CM.
This is the second budget being presented by Basavaraj Bommai after taking over as CM. Cabinet ministers conveyed their wishes to the CM before the Budget announcement.
