BENGALURU: Advocate Jeeva, who was faced with an investigation into irregularities in the Bhovi Corporation, committed suicide leaving behind an 11-page death note that strongly indicts investigating officer CID Deputy SP Kanaka Lakshmi.

Jeeva mentioned the harassment and torture she faced at the hands of DySP Kanaka Lakshmi while the latter was investigating irregularities at the Corporation. In her death note, Jeeva urged that Kanaka Lakshmi be punished for her actions.

The idea of giving some responsibility to her sister Sangeetha has also been mentioned in Jeeva’s death note, and she has asked her to fulfill the responsibility of what she has told her, without fail. “I am sorry Sangeetha, I know that this decision of mine will cause my sister trouble. But do not be afraid and continue to live life happily. That is my wish. Never neglect the responsibility”, Jeeva wrote.

She added that her decision may have caused humiliation and pain, but that none of her actions were intended to hurt anyone. She requested that her sister take care of herself and not worry about her decision to end her life.

Jeeva also requested Sangeeta to inform everyone that she died in an accident, not by suicide. The note ends with Jeeva saying she thought about his decision until dawn, but couldn’t find any other way out.
