CHITRADURGA: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Alok Kumar on Wednesday paid an informal visit to Chitradurga and held a meeting with senior officials at the SP’s office. He suggested that police officials maintain physical fitness.
Alok Kumar received a guard of honour at the SP’s office. He exchanged pleasantries with the officers and later held meeting with them.
Hiriyur Deputy SP Roshan Jameer, Chitradurga DySP Anil, Challakere DySP Ramesh, DySP (DCRB ) Lokesh and CPI Nagaraj from the SP’s office were present during his visit.
Alok Kumar informally warned some police officers about maintaining physical fitness. He suggested them to reduce weight, as being a police officer is a tough job. He also advised better food habits and to follow an exercise regimen daily.
