UDUPI: Telugu star Jr NTR, along with actor Rishab Shetty and director Prashanth Neel, visited the Udupi Sri Krishna temple on Saturday.
Jr NTR and Rishab came along with family members, they had the darshan of Lord Sri Krishna, Mukhyaprana and Garuda and even had annaprasadam together at the temple.
Speaking to the media, Jr NTR said that it was his mother’s forever dream to bring him to her hometown Kundapur and seek darshan at Sri Krishna math.
He said he was happy that the visit happened on a special day in the month of Shravana. “Rishab Shetty is a god-gifted friend to me, and I was happy to have joined him to visit the temple. My ancestors are from Kundapur and I felt peaceful after visiting Krishna Math”, Jr NTR said.
Jr NTR said that he prayed to God for the well-being of all—’Sarve Janah Sukhino Bhavantu’. He claimed that he eats Udupi-style food at home every day just like they serve at Krishna Matha. He also congratulated Rishab for receiving the national award and said Rishab deserves it and described it as ‘a very worthy award to a worthy actor’.
Jr NTR shared the precious moment with pics on X official handle, wrote that “My mother’s forever dream of bringing me to her hometown Kundapura and seeking darshan at Udupi Sri Krishna Matha has finally come true! To make it happen just before her birthday on September 2nd is the best gift I could give her”.

Meanwhile, Rishab said he felt brotherly-like connections between them as Jr NTR is from his hometown. “I never felt that Jr NTR is from Andhra Pradesh. I was available here in Udupi today, so that I could meet him. I had the desire to come during Sri Krishna Janmashtami, but could not due to a busy schedule”.
Rishab Shetty also described it as a great opportunity to meet Jr NTR after a long time.
