BENGALURU: Amid the rain, the city is grappling with the issue of potholes, which pose a threat to riders and motorists. Sandalwood actor Anirudh has taken to social media to appeal to the BBMP authorities to make the city pothole-free with concern for public safety.
Anirudh, who is an activist and raising awareness about cleanliness in Bengaluru, has now turned his attention to the city’s dangerous potholes. He has specifically requested the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to fix the potholes on Kanakapura Road near Doddakallasandra.
Anirudh made a video standing on the road to show ground reality to the officials and requested them with folded hands to fix the road. In the video, he highlighted the huge potholes and craters on the road, the pathetic situation of vehicle drivers, how people are taking risks with their lives, and how they are driving to avoid potholes.
He urged the authorities to take immediate action to fix them before they cause any more accidents and fatalities. The actor’s appeal is a reminder to the authorities to prioritise road maintenance and ensure the safety of citizens.
