CHAMARAJANAGAR: A car driver was charred to death after being trapped inside his car, which had caught after a head-on collision between a car and a goods vehicle.
The accident took place near Hirikati Gate in Gundlupet taluk of the district. The accident took place on Mysore-Ooty National Highway-766.
The deceased driver has been identified as Mysuru native Muzamil Ahmed.
The accident happened again at the same spot a week ago, where Parvathamma Rajkumar’s brother’s son Suraj met with an accident. The fire brigade rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.
Chamarajanagar district Superintendent of police Padmini Sahu inspected and the case registered in Begur police station.
