CHAMARAJANAGAR: A lone tusker entered the campus of the Morarji Desai Residential School at BR Hills in Yelandur taluk early on Wednesday morning.
Frightened teachers and students stayed indoors while the tusker strayed on the campus for a while. However, there was no untoward incident.
The Forest Department was alerted and its personnel arrived at the school and drove away the animal. The incident was captured on mobile phones.
