BENGALURU: A man was brutally killed, allegedly by torturing him by burning his private parts in a drunken state at Bhovithimmanapalya, Bengaluru North taluk.
The incident occurred on December 19, and has come to light lately. The deceased has been identified as Pradeep (41), and the accused as Chetan (30).
According to police, Pradeep had a fight with his wife; both were separated, and Chetan gave her shelter in his house. Pradeep had gone to Chetan’s house, where he urinated outside. This led to a fight between the two, resulting in the murder.
Chethan killed Pradeep by smashing his head against the wall and burning his private part with a cigarette. Chetan has been arrested, and police suspect that the murder may have been committed due to a dispute over a homosexual relationship.
A case has been registered, and Madanayakanahalli police are investigating further.
