CHAMARAJANAGAR: A passenger van, packed with packets of snacks for sale, overturned and fell into roadside ditch after a leopard cut the driver’s way, causing him to lose control. The incident occurred near Ponnachi on the way to Male Mahadeshwara Hills in Hanur taluk.
Luckily, there was no loss of life or injury. The Maruti Omni van was on its way to Koudahalli when the accident occurred. The van was later pulled out of the ditch with the the help of an excavator, but had suffered dents and scratches.
