BENGALURU: Kannada actor Darshan, who was granted interim bail on medical grounds in connection with the murder case of Renukaswamy, has been admitted to Gleneagles BGS Hospital in Kengeri due to severe back and leg pain.

According to the sources, Darshan supposed to undergo surgery on December 11, but it was postponed. The doctors at the BGS Hospital, where Darshan is being treated, have decided to postpone the surgery due to fluctuations in his blood pressure.

Darshan’s regular bail petition was to be heard the same day. The doctors have informed the court that the surgery will be performed only after his blood pressure stabilises and surgery may be performed in the next two days.

Darshan’s lawyers had earlier informed the court that the actor’s surgery was scheduled for December 11. However, the doctors have now decided to postpone the surgery due to health concerns. If the surgery is done, he will need at least 3-4 months for recovery.

The doctors at the hospital will monitor Darshan’s health for the next two days and then decide on the surgery. They have already informed the court about his health status.
