KALABURAGI: A history sheeter was brutally murdered by unidentified assailants with lethal weapons near Malagatti Cross on the outskirts of Kalaburagi city on Monday night. The history sheeter has been identified as Khalil Ahmed(38).
Khalil was among the most-wanted history-sheeters and had been absconding for several years. The police suspect the murder might be linked to a gang rivalry or land property issue (personal vendetta).
His friend Ali Patel was also attacked and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. A case has been registered at the Gulbarga University police station.
