Firemen rescue cow which had fallen into open well in Davanagere village

The cow was found in the well on Thursday morning.

DAVANAGERE: A cow which had accidentally fallen into an old open well on a farm at Avaragere village in the taluk was rescued by firemen on Thursday.

The cow was spotted in the well on Thursday morning and was unable to come up on its own. The farm owner Gundi Pushpa Siddesh immediately informed the emergency services.

Firefighters who arrived at the farm, got into the well which had very less water, tied ropes and hoses around the cow and managed to haul it up. The quick action of the firemen was appreciated by the villagers.
