HASSAN: Kannada cinema and television actress Shobitha Shivanna’s last rites performed in her hometown, Herur village, Sakleshpur taluk, Hassan district, three days after her death.
The mortal remains was kept for public viewing for some time in front of her parental house before the last rites were conducted at her father’s farm land. A pall of gloom had enveloped the family home and the entire village.
Shobitha’s father had passed away some years ago after suffering a heart attack. Her mother was living with her four daughters and a son in Herur.
Shobitha Shivanna was found dead at her apartment in Hyderabad on Sunday. She allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Kondapur under the Gachibowli police station area.
Her mortal remains were handed over to her family members after the PME at the Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday and brought to Herur village in Sakleshpur taluk. Her demise has come as a complete shock to the family.
