BENGALURU: Two-and-a-half-year-old girl Navya, who had been kidnapped by a woman on Thursday, was found safe near Devaiah Park in Vyalikaval, Bengaluru. The police handed over the child to the family.
The child was taken from Malleswaram by Sujatha, alleged to be mentally challenged, but was rescued by police after a passerby noticed the woman’s unusual behavior and informed the authorities.
Navya’s story unfolded quickly with Public TV broadcasting the news of her kidnapping, which led a woman to notice the abnormal behaviour of Sujata, who was carrying a child. Then, she immediately informed the police, who rescued the child.
