HUBBALLI: A cook stole appliances and utensils from the hotel where he worked, at Shantinagar in Keshwapur here on the night of October 23 and carted them away in a goods vehicle. The theft was captured on CCTV camera.
Shambhu was working as a cook at Tasty Tiffins, a hotel run by one Abhishek. The hotel had remained closed for a week during which time Shambhu planned the theft.
He, along with some of his associates, took away idli cooker, grinder, fridge, stove, utensils and some other articles from the hotel. The Keshwapur police have registered a case and taken up investigation.
