BIDAR: Two youths died after their speeding motorcycle crashed on National Highway-65 near Mannalli village in Basavakalyan taluk on Friday night. The deceased were identified as Rachaiah (22) and Shivashankar Hugar (21).
The accident occurred when the two were headed a relative’s house in Maharashtra from Humnabad. The impact of the crash was such that the two died on the spot. Both Rachaiah and Shivashankar hailed from Humnabad town.
The Basavakalyan traffic police visited the spot and shifted the bodies to a hospital for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered in this connection.
