CHAMARAJANAGAR: Forest Department officials have caught one person, while two other managed to flee, when they were transporting three spotted deer which had been hunted, near Kaudalli in Mahadeshwara forest division.
The Forest patrol received information that Prabhu, Govinda and Harish had hunted three spotted deer on the Male Mahadeshwara Hill main road. The patrol team gave a chase and nabbed Harish of Palanimedu village. However, Prabhu of G R Nagar and Govinda of Ajjipura managed to escape with the countrymade guns.
The Forest personnel have seized the hunted deer and are on the lookout for the absconding duo.
