BENGALURU: Traffic will be affected in Uttarahalli for one month as the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is laying pipes on Utharahalli Road for drinking water supply to 110 villages.

Movement of all types of vehicles has been restricted on Utharahalli Road, coming under Kaggere traffic police station limits, from BGS Junction to Madhu Junction for one month.

Alternate Routes:

1. Vehicles proceeding from BGS Junction to Madhu Junction (towards Mysuru Road) can take a diversion via Mookambika Circle and Vrishabhavathi Bridge to reach Madhu Junction.

2. Vehicles traveling from Mysuru Road to Utharahalli can take a right turn at Mailasandra village junction, proceed through village back gate road, and reach Utharahalli via BGS Junction.

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) is laying pipes on Utharahalli Road under the Cauvery Phase-5 drinking water project which will be inaugurated soon.
