CHIKKODI: Days after former BJP minister Shrimant Patil accused Kagwad Congress MLA Raju Kage of corruption and lack of development work in the constituency, the latter has hit back saying he would strip the BJP leader and parade him if Patil interfered in his affairs.
Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony for a drinking water project under Amrit 2.0 to Ainapur village on Monday, Bharamagouda Alagouda Kage a.k.a. (Raju) Kage hit back at Shrimant Patil and said he would strip the latter and parade him for interfering in his affairs. A video of his remark has gone viral on social media.
While Raju Kage identifies himself with Congress minister Satish Jarkiholi’s camp, Shrimant Patil is with the Ramesh Jarkiholi camp. The war of words between the two leaders is expected to continue, according to local political watchers.
