From now on, govt employees to wear red-yellow ID cards tags

BENGALURU: The government has ordered its employees to wear a red-yellow ID card tag from now on. This is part of the ‘Hesarayitu Karnataka -Usiragali Kannada’  initiative, launched to mark 50 years since the state was named Karnataka.

The Secretary of the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Sandeep B K, has directed all government employees to wear the red-yellow tags with their ID cards.

In this regard, the competent authorities of their respective departments/organisations have been asked to take immediate action in accordance with the rules to provide yellow and red tags to all the officers/staff of the state government, corporation, board, directorate, commissionerate, etc. in government and government-owned offices to wear the identity card of their department/organisation.
