Man who murdered wife in Bengaluru dies in Kolar while trying to flee from police

Tabrez had murdered his wife at her Chamarajpet residence on August 2.

BENGALURU: A man, who had killed his wife at Chamarajpet in the city on August 2, died after he jumped 12 feet in a bid to escape from the police in Kolar on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Tabrez Pasha.

Pasha was hiding in Kolar and when a police team reached there, he jumped from the terrace of the neighbouring house. With serious injuries, he was taken to a hospital, but did not survive.

Tabrez killed his wife in front of his mother-in-law and walked out of the house in blood-stained clothes.

Tabrez, who was unemployed, had barged into his wife Fathima’s (24) house and stabbed her with a knife in the presence of his handicapped mother-in-law. He had even shot a video and uploaded it on social media. The Chamarajpet had registered a case in this connection.
