BENGALURU: A 45-year-old unidentified woman committed suicide by hanging herself from the grill in the balcony of an apartment on Margosa Road in Malleswaram around 7 am on Tuesday.
An unknown woman allegedly had come to the apartment and committed suicide. Some bus tickets were found with her, leading the police to suspect that she may have travelled from elsewhere in the city. They have taken up further investigation.
A resident of the apartment complex, N K Rao, said, “I saw an unidentified woman hanging from the balcony of our neigbhour’s house on the fourth floor. She had come from Majestic and had bought a ticket to Malleswaram at 5.30 am. We found two cinema tickets in a nighty pocket that she wearing. I immediately informed the police as soon as I saw the body”
The police found a cinema ticket in her nighty pocket, which revealed that she had watched a movie at Navarang theatre.
The incident came to light when a resident of the apartment went out to take his dog for a walk and saw the body hanging from the balcony. He immediately called the police who shifted the body to the mortuary.
