BENGALURU: With the huge demand for the Vande Bharat Express train, which connects Kalyana Karnataka region to the southern tip of the state, the Southwest Railway has officially announced that the train will stop at Yadgir. This comes after a request was made to stop the train in Yadgir district. The train will run six days a week.
The Vande Bharat Express (number 22232/31) will depart from Kalaburagi at 5.15 am and reach Yadgir at 5.54 am, and it will proceed to Bengaluru at 5.55 am. The train will pass through Raichur, Mantralaya Road, Guntakal, Anantapur and Yelahanka before reaching SMVT Bengaluru station at 2 pm. The Railway Ministry has given approval to stop the train at Yadgir, which will boost regional connectivity.
Union Minister of State for Railways, V Somanna, shared the information on his official Twitter handle and stated, “Special trains will be run to various destinations in north Karnataka and Kalyana Karnataka connecting Bengaluru during the peak travel season in August. We are committed to making the Indian railway system accessible for all”.

The train will stop at Yadgir for a minute, providing an opportunity for passengers to board. This move is expected to benefit passengers traveling between Yadgir and Bengaluru. It amis to boost tourism in the the state.
