BALLARI: Patients and their attendants at the government community health centre in Kottur had to face much inconvenience as water from the roof started dripping on the beds during the overnight rain. The patients spent a sleepless night at the hospital.
Vijayanagar district witnessed continuous rain throughout the night on Friday. Due to this, the hospital roof started leaking and the water was dripping on the patients’ beds. Adding to their woes, there was no power supply at night.
Patients and their relatives vented their anger at the hospital authorities and pointed out that the washrooms too were blocked. They demanded that proper arrangements be made for the benefit of patients.
