CHAMARAJANAGAR: The tigress, which had attacked two people, was caught on a mobile phone camera dragging away a cow it had hunted at Gopalapura in Gundlupet taluk under Bandipur Tiger Reserve before it was captured by Forest Department officials.
The tigress, which had sustained injuries in a territorial fight, has lost some of its teeth and claws. The 8-10-year-old tigress had moved from Hedeyala forest range to Gopalaswamy Hill range and had been spotted on the outskirts of villages. The tigress is currently being treated at the Koorgalli rehabilitation centre in Mysuru.
