KOLAR: An employee of iPhone manufacturer Wistron was killed in a hit-and-run accident while crossing the highway on Thursday night. The deceased was identified as Roopa (22) a resident of Srinivasapura.
Roopa was on the night shift and was and was heading to work when she was knocked down by an unidentified vehicle. The driver fled the scene along with the vehicle after the accident. A case has been registered at the Kolar traffic police station.
