RAMANAGARA: The police on Sunday conducted a raid near Gungarahalli in the taluk where a ram fight had been organised for wagers and seized more than 30 rams. Cases have been registered against 16 people who had organised the ram fight.
Many owners from around Bengaluru had brought their rams for the fight and had placed wagers. The contest was organised by coordinating on WhatsApp and trophies and cash prizes were also arranged by the organisers. The seized animals were handed over to a cow shelter.
