2,000 chickens die at poultry farm due to intense heat

HASSAN: Thousands of chickens have died at a poultry farm at Boodikote village in Bangarpet taluk due to the intense heat. The poultry farm belongs to one Murugan aka Muthu.

It is said that about 2,000 chicken died on the farm and they were buried in huge pits. The deaths occurred due to the blistering heat, villagers said.
