VIJAYAPURA: The driver and cleaner of a spirit-laden tanker had a lucky escape after it overturned and caught fire on the Kalaburagi bypass road on the outskirts of Sindagi on Monday. Traffic on the road was affected for some time.
The tanker driver and cleaner managed to escape as soon as the vehicle overturned. The Fire and Emergency Services personnel had a tough time putting out the blaze. A case was registered at the Sindagi police station.
