Newlywed ends life by drowning in lake

TUMAKURU: A newlywed woman ended her life by jumping into a lake at Shidlanahatti in Kunigal taluk on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Rakshita (19).

Only three weeks ago, Rakshita had got married to a relative. However, she was depressed due to ill health, her parents have claimed. The Amruthuru police visited the spot and have registered a case.
