SHIVAMOGGA: Three people travelling in a car had a lucky escape after the vehicle went off the road and entered into a lake. The incident occurred as the driver lost control.
Along with the driver, there were two women occupants in the car. They were travelling from Bengaluru to Sonale in Ripponpet when the car plunged into the Tavarakere lake near Ripponpet. Luckily, the car did not go too deep into the water.
Some locals immediately rushed to the aid of the car occupants and helped them out. The incident occurred in Ripponpet police limits.
