BENGALURU: A second semester BTech student at PES College here died after jumping off the 10th floor of the college building on Monday. The deceased was identified as Aditya Prabhu, hailing from Mangaluru.
During the second semester exam today, Aditya was caught copying from his mobile phone and the college authorities confiscated the phone and informed Aditya’s parents.
Embarrassed by this, Aditya went up to the 10th floor and ended his life by jumping off the building. The Girinagar police visited the spot and registered a case.
